OUR REFUGE AND OUR FORTRESS

??Is my strength the strength of stones? Or is my flesh of brass?? Job 6 vs. 12

This seems to be the rhetorical question of so many going through several crises and it seems like God demands too much from them in that experience. These two questions are also very instructive for those who think that they have any ability outside God for ?…Let him that glorieth glory in the Lord?? We have no strength outside our provisions from heaven and it is simple common sense to act in the light of this truth. However when we are faced with insurmountable challenges and it looks as if God overestimated our strength, we can very easily cast ourselves on the mercy seat and receive the ?grace of God that is sufficient in our weakness?.

It cannot be promised unto you, dearly beloved of God, that you will not have mountains to climb and ravines to meander but this one promise you can cling unto this morning as you go out to face giants that seem to loom higher and mightier than your faith ? I will never leave you nor forsake you. It is restated as ??when you pass through the waters, I will be with you; when thou passest through the fire, thou shalt not be consumed?? Put on a smile as you go out this morning knowing that you?re in great company because you are with God. Alleluia
